It's still awesome! I've been going here since 1976, that I remember, and it has always tasted great! Try the sausage and mushroom pizza, that's what I grew up on, but everything is great! Best pizza in California for sure!

BEST PIZZA AROUND!!! My family goes to Pina Pizza every week its our family time and seems to be the only time we sit around the table and eat together sharing the week we had. Its a tradition, and every week the food gets better and better, love the meatball sandwich and my kids love the pizza. I highly recommend adding this tradition with family or friends as nothing beats great food, friendly service and good company. Thanks Pina Pizza. fyi my parents started this tradition...

I have been going to Pina Pizza House for almost 20 years. I absolutely love the atmosphere they present in their restaurant. The food is amazing and you just have an all around good time.

Pizza is delicious here, they have 2 great Italian beers on tap. Get the wings extra crispy. Also best Blue Cheese ever!

This place is good I have only had their submarine sandwiches they are big and delicious I have yet to try their Pizza bit if it as good as their sandwiches I'm in........

As soon as I walked in it felt like I was transported somewhere else. I went with a group of 4, close to closing time, and there was only one other group of people. It was clean and we were greated by Jamie. She was very friendly and happy to help us. She's been the best server I have had in a long time. The pizza was delicious. I'll definitely be going back. Thanks again Jamie for the wonderful service! I didn't take pictures because we're devoured our pizza as soon as we were served, maybe next time.

Had dinner at one of our old stomping grounds...Pina's Pizza. Shared a meatball & cheese sandwich. Plenty of food and one of the best meatball sandwiches I've had in a long time! With a lg group (12) and we had great service. Priced right too!

I also took a pepperoni pizza to go for my folks to try which the really enjoyed. I walked in the first time & really clean & friendly environment & was greeted well .This pizza is all about the sauce and toppings. This was the most well seasoned pizza I have had in recent history. The ingredient quality is fantastic.

Me and my family have been getting pizza from here for years. They are super delicious! We usually order pepperoni and pepperoni and mushroom. This is the only place where I will eat mushroom pizza from because it is so good! The pasta too is delicious.

Always worth the drive in from Long Beach, I've been coming here since 1977 and never a bad meal.

love their pizza, went in last week and very unhap with service. no one is very nice, specially the waitresses. But I do love their food I am going to order for delivery and wait the hour or so, instead of going in, hope they get some new help soon.. GREAT FOOD

Best Italian food in Downey, warm and welcoming I stop in for the lasagna and garlic bread. The portions are large and the food taste authentic not like tomato sauce out of the can. These guys know how to cook and it’s been family run for many many years now. Gino knows how to run a restaurant

I have enjoyed this wonderful restaurant since it's opening and watch it expand and grow. I grew up knowing the family and went to school with their daughter. It was the only place in Downey in my view to eat Pizza. Wonderful sauce and fresh toppings and plentiful toppings.

Authentic Italian Pizza and restaurant! I've been eating Pinas Pizza for years! This place has been here since the 50's! The house dishes are awesome... meaty, saucy, cheesy and full of flavor. I love ordering the Meatball Sandwich on garlic bread! Funny how a popular sandwich chain is starting to advertise this version of the Meatball sandwich. Nothing beats handmade meatballs and sauce!

Food was Pretty good and taste felt authentic . I’m used to eating Olive Garden and I’m not much of a fan. But I can eat here more often.

Parking is challenging. The dining area is big. Service is good. The only food on the menu that's good is the pizza. It's overpriced.Went back today, the service seemed slow. But our waitress made the wait worthwhile with her excellent service. I didn't get her name; she's blonde. Great job!

I've gone to Pina's since I was a kid. It's the pizza of my childhood and will always be one of my favorites. Their thin crust is the bomb and so it the garlic bread. I don't dine in too often but every interaction I've had there was great.
